I'm retired and have been smoking cigars off and on, well, since I was twelve. I got out of trouble once at that age because I convinced my parents that a priest, who was a family member down the street, had to be mistaken when he said he saw me walking down the street smoking a cigar. No one believed I could have done that without turning green. While in the Marine Corps we used to smoke Swisher Sweets constantly. As to my favorite smokes, there are many. I'm wishing I had some of the Bolivar Belicosos Finos I picked up while in the Caribbean a few months ago. Fired it up back on the cruise ship with a fine aged rum on the rocks and fell in love. Opus X (esp. Res. D'Chateau, Super Belicoso, and Belicoso XXX), Padron 1926 No. 9 Mad., and Fuente Anejo No. 77's are some of my favorites. I still have a few Tatuaje Havana VI Verocu No.2's left, I grabbed a bunch when they were available. For lower end smokes, the 5 Vegas Series A are very good with the new Animal a recent "buy more" stick. Gran Habano Corojo Triumph No. 5's are always in stock as are various sizes of Illusione smokes (the 68 and mk Ultra are great small sticks). If I could afford more Davidoff Millenium Robustos I would, but to spend that much, there's usually something else in that range I get instead. You can find my reviews on the Puff site where I'm presently #6 on their list of reviewers. I don't smoke cigars all the time, but most frequently with my morning coffee. I always had time for this since I used to work 2nd shift and my work day started at 3pm. I worked for SPS Technologies for over 35 years mostly running automatic screw machines, but also worked in engineering for a while as a tool designer. Also a volunteer firefighter for over 20 years, but now on the board of directors. Involved in rock climbing in the late 70's to early 80's, and was doing a lot of deep wreck diving until a dive accident forced me to curtail that around 2006. Still do some diving in the warm waters of the Caribbean. Lately I continue my lifelong pursuit of whatever fish I can manage to get on the end of my line.
