Just found this page a week ago. Been lurking for a bit and figured I'd introduce myself.

I was born and raised in Providence, RI. Went to Purdue University and got my B.S. in Aviation Management. Decided to forgo the job search for a while and moved to Barcelona for 3 months to learn some Spanish. Then went to Havana for a month and took some more Spanish classes. I'm pretty fluent now.

I love cigars, rum, flying skiing and traveling. In fact, I usually combine a few of them at the same time. Well, all of them except for the flying and rum.

Hope to learn and contribute as much as I can. Thanks!

Bienvenido a los BOTL, mi hermano!!! I envy you being able to see Havana.

I grew up in Manila and as you know, the old manila was the sister city of
both mexico city and Havana (San Cristobal de la habana) - hence the origins of the galleon trade. During the time of the Spanish rule that is.........Half of the filipino language is spanish and the other half is a mixture of malay and chinese hence my fluency en espanol is limited but passable. All nouns in the filipino(tagalog)language are in spanish.
