If you're not sure, I'd recommend waiting on making a box purchase. Buy more singles and 5 packs. Once you find a stick you absolutely love, then maybe buy a box.

If that doens't work, go with the pepin blacks, but i venture to guess you'll love the Tats.

Hmm well over at www.newhavanacigars.com if you buy a box of Tats/pete johnson cigars you get some Tat Black Robustos, a cutter, a hat, and another cigar from Petes travel bag. The Tat reds are affordable and good. I got myself a box of Tat Havana(red) Corona Especial. Just food for thought.

tats were the others I was seriously considering. My only hesitation is that I havent had one yet. I have had a Padron and know they are good. Thats probably a good call on the sampler though.

If you're debating between the Padron's and the Pepin Black labels, I would say you will love the Tat red labels!

You cant go wrong with Padron maddies, but I like the black Pepins and Tats a lot also. However, since I know nothing about your tastes, and I am guessing you are a fairly new smoker since this is your first box purchase, I would reccomend the Padrons.

Normally I prefer torps, but I like the 3000 better than the 6000 for some reason, and they are close to the same size and cheaper.

Agreed -- there's no reason to blow the cash on a whole box of something you haven't tried and may not like. Better to be able to try a number of different things. Also your tastes may change over time (mine did) and you may regret being stuck with a box of something that's not really what you want.

Of the two I would pick DPG BL, but I would also do some five packs of a couple brands and see what you realy like.

Those Don Pepins are my new favorite smoke. You just missed a deal on CI for 10 Pepins and free shipping for 31.99, I caught it with 30 minutes left last night. Look around all the major online stores and see if there is a deal on either you can pick up.
