  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Review # 30
$9.20
4 7/8 x 56
Strength: Full
Country of Origin: Dominican Republic
Wrapper Color: Maduro
Wrapper Origin: Connecticut
Wrapper Leaf Type: Broadleaf

Prelight: Old saddle in a barn someone threw sugar and caramel on

1st 1/2
Real easy to light with the small tipped foot, almonds with toasted sugar and syrupy molasses tinge, great draw, lots of big smoke coming off

Reminds me of a cross between the Arturo Fuente Añejo and the VSG Enchantment

Final 1/2
Nice straight burn, ash still holding on at 1-7/8"
Sweet syrup, almonds, leather finish on the lips
Very nice little smoke, my kind of cigar build although a very difficult stick to roll for the seasoned cigar roller

Smoke time 1 hr 10 min
Score 9 out of 10

Yeah, I love this stick. I was given my first from some teacher guy named Billy in California. I always keep my eyes out for them in the B&Ms.

Great review. Straight and to the point!

Thanks Goldwing!

Absolutely one of my favorite sticks. I tend to prefer the cameroon or natural wraps from the Fuente's but the occasional work of art is truly incredible.
Great review!

Great review My local B&M carries these I will definitely pick one of these up and give it a shot

Thanks!
Be sure to let it rest awhile or you may feel cheated
I agree that it's a great little smoke, and also agree that rest/age is crucial for maximum enjoyment. Love the flavor descriptions in the review, goldwing. I haven't heard some of those, but they fit.

I can manage to keep my paws off of a box for about a year, after that, they tend to go quickly :). Just hold off for as long as you can...
