No excuses, but I will be back as much as I can be. I saw a few of you guys during football season and I need to see more of you. I hope everyone is doing well and I apologize once again for my absentism.

On a cigar front, a friend of mine did something he thought was awesome and bought me a $25 "Cuban" from the cigar store next to his business. I have been away from cigars for a while, so I did some research and it is like I suspected, fake. It is a Montecristo Reserva 70th Aniversario. Looks like these are made in the Dominican. The owner said to have me stop by and he would sell me some Cubans with a "good deal."

Now I have to figure out a way to tell my friend that this shop sold him a fake.

in my experience it is best to tell them to truth. teaching them the facts will stop them from patronizing crooks.

I could have sworn that I had posted to this thread but it appears I forgot to even do that. Yes I have been a very laxed in keeping in touch with everyone as well. We all need to get together for a smoke, soon if possible. Any of you planning time in Austin anytime soon?
