Since I realize my time in San Diego may be coming to an end I am trying everything I can only do here. Today I chose to trek my way to Hodads burgers. I strapped my weight vest on, lit a cigar and began what felt like a ten mile hike to Ocean Beach where even the mailman looked like a stoner. The burgers will win against any burger I have tried, even in-n-out burger. I got the double cheeseburger with bacon and fries on the side. I wish I had a camera to take a picture of this work of art. I would not order a double with bacon again just because the bacon to burger ratio is off and not in my favor. It was relatively cheap, $11 plus a little tax, and definitely could fill a man sized appetite. The burgers were cooked just right, the buns were perfect for the massive portion of cow I held between my grubby little hands, and the toppings were all man sized, no dainty tomato or onion here, oh and they put them in the right order (why people put them on the top when your taste receptors are on the bottom I will never know). I threw hot sauce on because I am an addict but these burgers were so juicy and fresh they didnt need anything. The fries where of a generous cut, well seasoned and cooked just right. The only sad thing is the ketchup wasnt Heinz it was some runny off-brand but they were seasoned just right so condiments for them were really not needed. The music is loud at this establishment and the lines can be long but for the portions and the great price I would definitely recommend giving it a try if youre ever near Ocean Beach California.

BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
