Hotel question for San Antonio/Lackland AFB

Hey all, here's a request for local knowledge. I'm going to San Antonio next month for my son's graduation from Air Force basic training. Never been to the area, where is the closest area to book a motel room? Thanks in advance for the help.

Don't realllly know that area to well but anything over by seaworld is pretty close by. sa isn't that big so you could stay downtown or near the med center and be only 20 mind away. Roads are pretty easy to follow as well. Hope that helps. Check priceline

Being in the hospitality industry for a good time, all I have to say is, you get what you pay for. Stay at a Hampton inn.
