  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Was surprised when they didn't have any new auctions Saturday and Sunday. Found out after I had placed bids last week that the format has changed. Looks like they didn't tell anyone about the change so I'm real curious how my orders from Thursday and Friday will get screwed up.

Here's a hint, don't try to scroll through the auctions, the pages load incredibly slow. You need to do a search for what you want and look at all relevant auctions by item. They made it really difficult to find last minute "steals" and it's the same old offerings they've had for years

And just got notice that any order prior to the change over is shipping early and without shipping charges so they did that right. Saved a couple of bucks.

The site has Computer Bugs it is not working as well as the old site. I called customer service, and shared the problem I was have with my IPAD.

FYI the Mobile Site is now replaced with a Non-Mobile Site. So like all new computer programs their "IT Department" is work to de bug it.

Seems to work fine with the app but I'm back in my self imposed freeze now that I've scratched the itch!

Well the BUGS I saw at 0600 are not fixed, I can not track my watch list......:rage:

If they are no fixed in am, I will call again, as I know one lady in Phonex support that is good. She wants it fixed.

Their sister company put up a new site that killed business for months. Cigar International.

took a perfectly good format and screwed it up.
I used to be able to check things in a minute or two, now it takes all morning.
when they see how much $$$ it is costing them,I bet they will change it back.

They absolutely. 100% FUCKED up the old site. I liked how they used to have an option to shop only for boxes. Now all the fivers are mixed with boxes being auctioned. The layout and navigation, particularly the labelling of lots, is awful.

Ditto but my I suggest you message them tell them your problems. FEEBACK is the key to fix.

You're right @SurfnSafari I probably will get in touch with them. They're the same people in charge of CI and they have impeccable customer service. I just don't understand why websites change their perfectly usable, consumer friendly layouts. Like, if it ain't broken, dont fix it dude.....

Well if we as they customer do not give the FEEDBACK, :) their Computer Nerds will have now way of knowing what is not work correctly.

"MY LOTS" is just not working, so for me I can not use the site, track my lots, so I am like a ship with out rudder to control actions, or directions.:punch:

I am Always Right, it is getting people to agree with my point, or observations.:cautious:
