Sitting outside half in shade, it’s 84 degrees. Glad I picked a short Robusto, but it begs the question... what is your cut off temperature?

Depends on the humidity! 92 degrees and 52% humidity is about as uncomfortable as the 82 degrees and 80% humidity forecast for this evening.

To me 84 or above isn't bad. I wouldn't go past 90. But alot of it depends on humidity

Fair enough; humidity is “only” at 52% looks like I need to suck it up

As long as you're comfortable. That's part of what smoking is about

Depends on the humidity a lot, but the hottest I comfortably smoked at this summer was 90°, I think the humidity was ~45% that day, there have been other days that were 85°/90% that just made me turn around and walk back inside. On the cold side, at about 40° I start smoking in my car. There were a few windless days in the 20s with good sunshine that I dared to smoke a short robusto outside!

Breeze always helps greatly in the summer. I do the same when shoveling in the winter, no wind and I’ll grab a corona

The heat doesn't bother me as much if I'm in the shade with a cold drink. Now anything below 50 I need to be next to a heater or I'm not smoking.

I can tolerate the heat a lot better than cold. It don't get hot enough in Florida to keep me inside but once it gets too cold to wear shorts I'm uncomfortable.

Eeek, heading to Palm Springs for a gig next week and a herf with an old buddy of mine. Supposed to be 98. At least it’s a dry heat. And not 111 like usual summer temps.

I don't like the heat very much and prefer colder weather. During my last deployment we were up to about 126 ish, at those temps it really doesn't matter how dry it is it's just HOT! I did not smoke those days, too much for me

I generally only smoke in the middle of the night, so I rarely have to deal with the heat, but as long as I'm not sweating on my cigar it's not too hot.

Too hot is relative. If I’m on one of the the “all expenses paid by Uncle Sam” vacations to the Middle East, then “too hot” can’t exist.

Now if I’m stateside like I have been for several years, then my limit is upper 90s, provided I can find a nice spot in the shade.
