Till the US gives up on the travel part of the embargo? The reason I pose the question is when booking for the festival this year places I have never seen sell out were all sold out. Now I just got a text from a buddy that went a week early and he said that many places were full of Americans. He was sitting in a bar watching basketball on ESPN surrounded by them. Now by all accounts enforcement on the casual tourist is pretty much non existent. So as a government would you rather admit that you were unable to direct your citizens or say that the open communication of values and lifestyle choices is the best way to encourage them to make a change of governmental styles? Hate to say it but I am not really excited about the changes but that is a purely greedy reason. I think Americans inside of Cuba is a good thing for the population as anything that brings in money really helps.
