  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Not much smoking time today, but I managed to squeeze this one in. Short smoke – short review. Courtesy of @BradMc in the winter small cigar pass.

Cedar, peppery on the retrohale. Definitely has a little bite to it. Not what I was expecting in a supposedly mild-med smoke!

An unusual sour taste, or tangy rather… and a little bitter (almost always an issue with little smokes). But mostly just good tobacco flavor.

Ash fell at about 1/2”. It’s smoking pretty quickly.

Getting really woody all of a sudden, then smooths out a hell of a lot, that initial strength dying down. Something floral going on. This is turning out to be an interesting little stick.

Earthy, mushroomy, a hint of milky chocolate. Smoke production increases. For about 10 seconds it becomes a Padron ’64. Strength returns, more chocolate and still lots of wood.

The word that came to mind when smoking this was “fun.” Like riding around in a go-kart. I’m not sure I’d pay $6 for it, given the size, but I did enjoy the hell out of it! 25 minutes to finger-burning nub, and time well spent. Curious what some more age would do (and I have one more to find out!).
