I think with the units we have, the fan actually blows down onto whatever media you use inside and the air is pushed out the sides.

BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

with the Hydra unit, you have to go through the large hole in the center... you just cut it into small enough chunks and pull it out piece by piece...
with an Oasis you can pull the top off of the container.. just slip a small screwdriver into the seal and turn it near the 4 corners.. the top will pop right off...
Havent looked at a Humi-Care close enough to know how to get at the foam on that one.. but Im guessing one of the 2 methods above would work...

I did mine last night, I used a spoon and shoveled it out.
Well I'll definitely give that a try. Gotta get some beads first. Thanks!
