  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

My boss has a wine room. It is pretty top-notch so I think there is some humidication in the room for the wine (I know it is temperature controlled). He has a few boxes of cigars on the wall and also a humidor. Does the humidor need a humidification source? I guess my real question is does a humidor serve to keep humidity out just like it keeps it in?

I think that wine guys usually keep humidity at about 55% or so. assuming that humidity level, you will need humidification.Heartfelt Beads or Bovedas will work perfectly. If the wine room humdity is higher than what is desired for cigars, then the humidity will seep into the humidor. Beads would be best for lowering the humidity level.
