Hygrometer Calibration Test

I recently purchased beads and a hygrometer for my tupperdor. Are the beads accurate enough to test how far off my hygrometer is, or will I need a calibration kit?

Spend the $4 to get the Boveda calibration kit, easy and very accurate.

Or save the $4 and salt test it but either way works just fine.

I figured messing with the salt test seems like a bad idea. I'll just go with the calibration kit. Thanks though.

I'd spend the $4 for a calibration kit (that's my two cents)

I'm definately in agreement for using the calibration kit, and keep in mind it is re-usable!

yeah calibration kit all the way, try this test do the salt and then use the calibration kit. you'll see how the unreliable the salt test can be.

I did both, got virtually the same result with both.
