I just bid on some Astral Candelas... should I not have?

I wanted to try a nice candela, for a mild smoke. I read on the CI website that Astral is a good example of candelas.

A friend tried to turn me on to Iguana candelas, and I found them repulsive. So, I went in search of a good candela. Now, after bidding on two lots of 5 ea., I found two different threads, on two different forums asking people what the worst smoke they ever had was, and two different people mentioned Astral Candelas as their least favorite smoke ever.

I guess if I win, I will try one and if it sucks, I will give it to my Iguana puffing friend.

i've only smoked a couple, but they both tasted like grass.

CAO has a candela out, along with an oscuro, but have to buy from Thompson's to get them.

I went through a stage where I tried a bunch of Candela's IMHO Fuente makes the best.

I've only had the AF 8-5-8 Candela and it was different but good. Good luck with the Astrals, let us know what you think of them.

Fuente definitely makes the best candelas, but the Astrals should be decent, especially if they have some age on them.
