  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I need a good table top lighter

My Xikar Element is a great pocket torch for my tastes but I really need a table top lighter for the house when I entertain large groups.
I'm willing to pay good money if it's a quality product.
Any suggestions?:dunno:

3 Torch Flames. The only triple torch flame table lighter on the market. Attractive and efficient, it displays all of the hallmarks of great Lotus design. Includes Tatuaje Logo

Blazer Spitfire is what I use... outside @ the fire pit/grill and/or as the table lighter!

Gives you torch and soft flame options...just flip the switch.

I also covet the AB... only 50 bux (or less) and 4 guys could toast off it at the same time!

Some day soon.....

We had one in the B&M I used to manage and the thing basically stopped working in a month, it wouldn't spark anymore!

Really Larry? That stinks! I wonder if that is common... (time to see what google has to say!)

Meanwhile, I'll keep using my old (really OLD!) Ronson Rondo... it's one of the old Varaflame models from the 60's... the tank is about half the size of a Red Bull can... and since it's soft flame I only fill it about once every 6 to 8 months.

Zulu - I look forward to hearing what you decide on! Good luck man.

We have a AB Table burner at both stores I work. One has been dropped repeated times and is still kicking. The flame doesn't come out in a perfect circular fashion but it still lights cigars like a champ. One of the two does have a slight issue with sparking SOMETIMES but I found if I don't touch any of the metal when sparking it's all good. These lighters get used a lot since they sit right near the register. Only problem I see with them is that you manually have to shut off the fuel and I've had people forget to do that.

On a side note I saw someone mentioned a vector triple flame deal. We had one that was a single flame that crapped out. I fixed it and then only worked a little while, then recently we got a triple out for counter use and it too was replaced again with the AB lighter.

Does anyone own or heard any reviews about the Vector Tri-Pump?
I love the looks of this and don't mind the price...
...but I've said that about women I shouldn't have gotten involved with!:pitchfork
