I had an opportunity to go to Fumare, Dion's shop in Reno yesterday. Dion is a class act and hosts an incredible shop. Beautifully laid out and an incredible walk-in humidor. While checking out the humidor, I saw a cab of new cigars that I asked Dion about. He told me these are about two months off the table and made from some great tobacco from Nicaragua.
I'm just posting a quick review of these and will amend it once I get home, as well as post a pic or two. The Rex appears to be a 4 x 44 and has a dark wrapper. The pre-light displays some good spice but had a sweetness to it. There were no burn issues and this is a truly well made cigar with a great full flavor, showing spice but a sweetness (hints of Cinnamin) when I say full flavor, I mean it. If has a great strength to it, as well as emits tons of great smoke.
For just under $5, you need to try these, the only problem is that Dion is keeping these only at his shop for a while, so you need to plan on a trip to Reno. Fortunately I picked up a few to enjoy,
Thanks for taking the time to read.
