  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

i'm happier than a pig in...

cigar shite!!! just got back from spending a few minutes with Pete and a few hundred of his admirers in KC. what a guy! i know many of you who have met him have said what a nice guy he is, and i have to echo those comments. never met a more down to earth cigar brand owner!
not sure what was the best part.... the box of COJONU 2009 i came home with, or getting to smoke the sample of the vintage line he gave me!!! that was one FINE smoke. i'm gonna start saving now cause there won't be too many and they ain't gonna be cheap. but it was a GREAT DAY:clap:

Cool times, the man is gaining rock star status. Did he let any other secrets out of the bag?
no great secrets. the vintage line will be tatuaje and three letters,(and crap i can't remember them) like O.A.S. it stands for something french. he is planning to distribute these like vintage wine. he'll sell futures later this year and then they'll be released next year. the price will be cheaper if you buy futures. any that aren't spoken for will be for sale to general public next year. price point around padron's highest end.
the one he gave me was a robusto "tasters" size. he'd like them to end up being churchills, but not sure yet. he also said that this one was rolled TWO weeks ago! it was extremely rich and had an almost pure white ash that held for a couple of inches. he said it was all due to the fermentation process? i have a picture, but can't post it til tomorrow. this was an excellent cigar, but not a typical tat highly spiced or peppery stick imho. just another damn good cigar from pete!
