In my ever searching quest for pappy van winkle.....

I stopped by a hole in the wall liquor store in fort worth not expecting anything when low and behold the sales clerk asked me: looking for anything special? I replied with: yeah some pappy winkle. He then said this is your lucky day because I have the 10 year, 12 year lot b, and 20 year. I was escatic because I have been searching for this stuff for over a year! Then comes the devistating part; the price. He wanted $199 for the 10 year, $225 for the 12 year lot b and $399 for the 20 year!!!!! I said thanks but no thanks and figured out quickly why he still had it. What a disappointment!

Very sad. I found similar prices at a store near me that still had it in stock.

A place called prime valley beverage off of 820. I would have bought the 20 if it was $150 or so.

Yeah, the 12 Year here is $90 and I thought that was overpriced. Ouch!!!

Paid 65 for the 12 earlier... Another place has 12 for $48 but that's through a list lottery.
