  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

This 6×52 dark, oily stick gave medium-full bodied flavors of cocoa, tobacco, nuts and a slight pepper heat on the finish. Unfortunately it did have some construction issues. Draw was excellent, with just the right amount of resistance for easy control. More in the video!

This was probably the first full box of cigars I bought several years ago. Not an elegant smoke, but an enjoyable one none the less. Thanks for reminding me about them, I may need to get some more.

I bought a bundle of coronas about 2 years ago. I haven't smoked one in probably a year. They are probably just about right now. Thanks for the review.

I just finished smoking a corona. They are much better with age. I didn't get any of the bitterness that I remember. Now I'm glad I hung on to a few.

I am a fan of these. Good price for an every day. Nothing too fancy but I think a lot of the time they are over looked. Maybe its the funny looking band. IMO.

Actually, one of the best tasting cigars I had in the last two years was one of these IT Toros SFM. It's 1:30 in the am, mid-winter, I am standing in the parking lot of my apartment complex and I can't put the damn thing down.
Complex, spicey, smooth, but with a good "grip" (Wine-taster's term for overall structure and quiet strength), you couldn't ask for a better stick. I'd had several before this one and had laid off because they lacked grace. A little too agressive for me. So this one had aged awhile and it really paid off. CI still sends these in their sample 8 packs, sometimes real big ones, sometimes the modest square-pressed robusto. Grab them when they're on deal and forget about them for a year or two. The last one I had a couple of days ago was so smooth, it was like not even the same cigar.
So, is that inconsistency, or you pays your money and you takes your chances?
All in all, another great value from Rocky.
