  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I have been hesitant to try an IT by RP....read some mixed reviews. A friend gifted this to me and I gave it a shot tonight with my usual coffee and ice water.

Nothing special about the prelight aroma and draw. Easy and even light and very even burn through the entire 1 hour smoke with a solid ash that I flicked at about an inch or so. I couldn't tell how this was going to turn out for the first ten minutes, but this cigar quickly provided a combo of cocoa and toast, some might say earthy, with the slightest flavor of leather peaking in and out. At no time did I taste pepper or spice which surprised me since this has been described as a full-bodied, strong cigar. A huge volume of smoke upon drawing continued laying these flavors on my tongue and palette for the rest of the smoke. These flavors hit my sweet spot in cigar smoking and I believe this may become one of my change of pace cigars when I need something a little different but full flavored....I said full flavored on purpose because the flavors are quite prominent with each draw. The great construction of this cigar allowed me to chew down hard on this baby which again, hits my sweet spot.

I guess these can be bought for about $3/stick which makes it a great value IMO.

The Indian Tabacs I've had have all been great-tasting and well constructed. They make a "godzilla" sized version of this (6.5" x 58 ring) which is a great smoke - never gets harsh or hot. These are among my everyday favorites.

CI used to sell second of these and you really could not tell the difference. Nice review and cigar. Still about $1.67 a stick for the corona when they are on sale like now.

Yeah. The corona comes in a box of 25 and CI gives you 5 free right now.
Not a bad smoke.

Super review. I have never smoked a Super Fuerte. I have bought smoked and reordered their Limited Reserve Toro's and love-em. Guess I will have to try these also. Thanks again for a great review.

I've had only one, and although it was ok, I've had better cigars in the prige range. But having only the one, it's hard for me to judge.

THe LR is made for CI I believe. These really enhance with age. Try the super fuerte. For the price point its hard to beat.

I'm not generally a fan of IT sticks, but the Super Fuerte Maduro is a very nice smoke, especially for the money.
