I was playing around looking for something I could use for a cigar stand. I came across this it’s simple and inexpensive, and it works.

This is the objects intent.

Ok I have an improvement for you.

Take another clip, the same size and clip the two mouths together. Now fold two of the arms up ver the the other two arms. so now all for of the silver wire thingys are all on the same side. you'll have a base, and a curved resting spot for the smoke.

see how the last picture, the clip is biting the paper. open both clips and place the mouths together so they are each biting one another. then flip the arms from one side to the othe and you'll have it.
