Here is the fifth of six total cigars from the Curivari line. It is my understanding that of the Reserva Limitadas, this one is the original. Composed of all Cuban-seed Nicaraguan tobacco, this is a medium to full body cigar. It has a fairly dark, oily wrapper. This specific size is like a short robusto, measuring 4.5x50.
This cigar had a slight flavor of cocoa and leather on the pre-light draw. Those two flavors ramped up upon lighting the cigar. There was also a little bit of spice and cedar mixed within.
The second third of the cigar had primarily a leather flavor. Cocoa was secondary, providing a nice balance. Notes of cedar would show on the finish.
The final third of the cigar brought cocoa back to the forefront. Leather, along with increased spice and bits of cedar, rounded out the flavor.
Again, Curivari has impressed me with another cigar from their line. This one ranks in the top 3 of the ones I have smoked from this brand so far, and they are very close to one another fighting for the top spot. I have seen very good construction and burn with these cigars.
Overall, this cigar lasted 90 minutes. I wanted to smoke it further than I had...but my fingers were burning.
