iPhone Cigar applications

Ken I got the app, and it is by far the best one for the iphone. Tasting notes is ok, but I wanted one that was just ofr cigars, which yours is.

If you do some updates, what are you looking at adding?

I have two updates currently planned:

v1.1 - should finish this week
-- a few more brands/cigars in the reference
-- default to last humidor when adding cigars
-- picklist for 'acquired from' and 'format' to speed data entry
-- default to all caps for box code
-- picklist for year (and month??)
-- (maybe) a 'buy it now' link to a online cigar store
-- code clenup and optimization

v2.0 - still designing this
-- new section for 'smoking notes'
-- pull from humidor, record details about the smoking experience, photo, etc.

Ideas appreciated for v2.0 !!!

It maybe a little tricky but why not a lighter and cutter app? one less thing to forget at home!

Ken, I bought your app about 5 days ago and its great! I think my biggest suggestion would be when adding a new cigar, I can only add whats in the list. It gives the illusion that I can just type in the text field, but the only way to change the fields value is in the picker window. I can't inventory certain cigars that I have because I have no way to add them.

Also, I know cigars are brown, but any chance of different color schemes/skins in future updates? :smilies:

Add any cigars you want! From the brand or cigar list, choose "add cigar". Then, for any field (like 'brand') that uses a picklist, scroll to the top of the list and select "add new brand". That will activate the text field. Then in the future that new brand will be in the picklist.

I gotta admit, the brown does turn me off as well.
