  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

That's right the next Iron Chef is Chef Jose Garces, AWESOME! Chicago is in DA HOUSE! I went to High School with Chef Garces he was a bad ass football player back then! His restaurant in ChiTown is great if you ever get in the city and you love Spanish food it's the shizzle Meer Cat A La Planxa in the old Blackstone Hotel. I think he's going to do great on this show and be very successful on the Food Network he has the right personality for it, Mehta was just a goofy dork IMHO.

Sweet. I'll have to go to his restaurant. Though, I still need to get to Tompalobampo...

Is his food ethnically "Spanish" or central american "Latin"?

He is spanish lots of great Tappas style goodness, it's good stuff! He also has a couple of restaurants in Phillie and I think one in NYC?

I've not been to Trotters cuz I ain't got da cash, I would rather go to Shwa @ 1/2 the cost and the ambiance and food are just as good if not better IMHO! One day maybe I'll talk the FIL to splurge for Trotters:thumbsup:

I've not been to Trotters cuz I ain't got da cash, I would rather go to Shwa @ 1/2 the cost and the ambiance and food are just as good if not better IMHO! One day maybe I'll talk the FIL to splurge for Trotters:thumbsup:

I'll have to look into Alinea... I've heard Moto is doing some weird stuff? Tru I've heard is unreal but very very pricey! My other H.S. buddy is the head chef @ Blackbird and they do some pretty cool chit!
