The advertisement must be working because it has us talking about it. I am sure there are people on this board that have the disposable income to purchase that bottle. What Editor would allow that kind of advertising for items that are out of reach to the vast majority of consumers? The money paid for that advertisement couldn't possibly get their money back....or are there more rich cigar peeps out there than I think? Raise your hands for those who make 7 figures a year and can we be friends?
Who are these people with that kind of disposable income....the 50 year Scotch by itself could buy me a nice SUV that would last me for years. The advertisement must be working because it has us talking about it. I hear ya. But there are people out there that will buy a case of the 50yr without blinking, and there may even be some that are members of this board.Who are these people with that kind of disposable income....the 50 year Scotch by itself could buy me a nice SUV that would last me for years.
It's America! This is what makes USA the best country in the world. Everything and I mean everything is the same way. Cars, guns, watches, golf clubs, pool cues, cigars, wine, tools, art, beef, pets, gambling, etc, etc, etc. the list goes on and on.I hear ya. I hear you bro! Then sometimes I might drink more than I should, and no longer regret the 40 bucks I spent. Then I wake up feeling like shit, and regret the fact I drank almost all of the $40 bottle in one night. It's a vicious cycleIt's America! This is what makes USA the best country in the world. @ckay is right, there's someone out there that's not only willing, but excited to purchase that bottle. I for one have a hard time spending $40 on any booze, but hey to each his own.
