Is this a good golf ball?

I am not a good golfer so I dont guess it matters, but I was in my local WM the other day and they had about a dozen boxes marked down on clearence for 10 bucks a box. I picked up one because hell thats cheap. If anyone else wants any shoot me a pm and I will see if they have any left.

Nice golf ball Josh, just an older model that is not in the new lineup so likely at a closeout price. Absolutely a great deal, usually only lower handicap players see a significant difference in golf balls. Hacks like me just know they all fly in to the woods and sink in the lake the same!

$10 for those is a GREAT deal.....I just picked up a couple boxes of the HX Bite, which is their new ball......and those were going for $39.99 per box (as were the ones you bought IIRC).....but they had a deal of 2 for $40, so I bit (and it was a gift card I was spending, so much easier to buy em' than if it were out of my checking acct!).

I'd be plenty happy with those at that price!

Listen to Craig, from what I understand he really knows his balls. Not sure what he pays for balls but he is always playing with them.

That's a top of the line ball. Very similar to Pro V1. They work great for fast swinging low handicap golfers who hit the ball relatively straight all the time. If you are a mid-high capper (like me) and don't swing real hard you won't hit this ball as far and it will slice more than a harder golf ball (because it spins more). As with everything in golf - try them and see what you think. There are no set rules when it comes to what kind of equipment feels right to an individual.

That being said - still a smoking deal!!

The HX tours were replaced last year by the Tour i and Tour ix. Still, a great buy at $10!

Well I went back last night to pick up a few more boxes at that price for me and KPP. They were all gone. I got one box, so I am not complaining too much. You snooze you loose I guess :crytears:
