Is this really C & D Billy Budd?

I've never tried Billy Budd before so I added 1 once to a recent Pipes & Cigars order. It's described as a heavy Latakia blend with rough cut burley, bright Virginias, and a healthy dose of Maduro. Should be pretty fragrant, right? Instead this is what I got today:

Uniform cinnamon colored, tinder dry, and void of any aroma. Certainly no Latakia. Anyone familiar with this blend? I smoked a quick mini bowl and it's super dry and not very flavorful or interesting. I order quite a bit from P&C, is it worth make a stink about this? It's only an once, but still...

Even a pipe noob like me can see you're right about that. Not even a flake. I'd call and let them know there was a mix-up.

I agree here. Just let them know what happened. Hopefully they'll do the right thing and take care of it for you. Either way whatever you choose to do keep us posted!

Being that it's only an ounce, I'm thinking they just send you the right one without much of a hassle.

They are. No big deal really, I just wanted to make sure with brothers who were familiar with The blend before I contacted them. They're very nice about it.
