  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I'm not normally a fan of flavored cigars but I REALLY enjoyed the Isla Del Sol. Any recommendations based on this cigar. It has a very nice cafe latte flavor to it.

I actually enjoy these once in awhile as well but don't tell anyone. lol

There are recommendations like bubb said but for the price man you can't beat those. I also enjoy the Tabak and Natural line from DE when I'm out and don't want to offend non smokers.

Glad to hear someone liked this stick; personally, I can't get past the sweetness! :wtf: It's like it was rolled in Equal or Saccharine. But hey - if you like it, smoke it!

Yeah once I got past the fake sweetener it is a solid stick. Not sure why they chose such an aritificial sweetener taste for this one over say the Kuba Kuba or Java which are more of a natural sugar taste to me. Ultimately would prefer no sweetener on the Isla and I would probably buy them regularly.

Stay away from the nub cafe line if you do not enjoy intense sweetness. They are ok for maybe one but way too sweet for me.
The isla got me hooked on cigars to begin with and I try to keep some on hand but hard to pull the trigger on the infused anymore. Try the natural line though if you like this one.

I always wipe the cap off as best I can before cutting. It helps. About 1/3 way through the sweetness goes away and it's actually a decent smoke. I don't smoke a lot of infused but try the tabak line. They are decent.

Always been a fan of the Tabak Especial Dulce line, they seam to always be paired with the Isla Del Sol in samplers but I've never tried them before. MIght have to add them to my list to try.

I've smoked the Tabak twice. Enjoyed it both times. I don't see it being in my regular rotation but I do see myself smoking them 3 or 4 times a year. Also not a bad idea to keep a couple on hand to pass out to novices that want to try a cigar.

I can only enjoy Tabak with age on them lol. I need the coffee to settle I the tobacco for a while and once that happens.. It tastes so much better. Tried a Tabak with a little over a year age on it and WOW so much better then ROTT!
