  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Not sure if I'm posting this in the right place, but...

I'm looking to hook up with someone driving from the general NYC area to the HERF in Fairfield.

I'm in Queens, not too far from JFK, but I'm willing to meet up just about anywhere in NYC if someone is planning on passing through.

Thanks for looking.

Did I mention the gas, tolls, and premium fiver? :)

I actually recently found out it's not nearly as much of a pain to get there by mass transit as I thought it was going to be, so if I don't get any takers, no worries.

Figured it's worth bumping just the one more time in case someone's driving through.

If you take the Lakeland Bus from the Port Authority get off on the corner of Rt 46 West and Hook Mt Rd. Call my cell and someone will pick you up by Wendys. That stop is a five minute drive from the club. Just be sure you get on the bus that goes RT 46 West. The bus goes back to Port Authority every hour up to 1030PM. Here is a link..www.lakelandbus.com

My plan so far had been to take the 197 from Port Authority to the Willowbrook Mall, and then either cab, hike, or take the 874 from there.

I'm checking out Lakeland now to see if they have better options.

If I'm reading this right it looks like I can take Lakeland's bus from Port Authority to Pine Brook. Should be a 30-40m ride, then about a mile walk to the club. If that's the case I think I'm all set. I just need to be careful about getting back.

My truck is probably going to be full, but if not you can ride with me. I'll know better on Friday.
It would be awesome if you end up having room, but don't stress otherwise. It looks like I've got a very reasonable mass transit option figured out.

Thanks!

Charles, what time were you planning on arriving? I may be able to give you a lift.

I'll be passing through & should have room on the way there - the only problem is I'm not returning to NYC afterward.
Yeah im not going back home either, actually have to leave a little early to get down the shore. Probably stick around till 6 or so. But either way your more than welcome to jump in w me. You could even take a bus/train to my town which is only 12 mins from port authority and we can cruise up together. Lmk

Dont worry the Lakeland Bus goes East into the Port Authority up until 11PM. I can drop you off at the bus stop.
