  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

An old friend is looking for bottles of George Stagg + old Rip Van Winkle (either the 15 or 20 yr). I've been searching online (my local shops don't carry these), but all I've found so far is places out of stock, won't ship to CA or insane prices.

Anyone have a line on either of these bottles?

I can get you a bottle of Stagg. $62 + tax. I was pissed because it was $55 last year. I just picked up a bottle this past week.

Both can be had in PA I do believe. The stagg is $60 and the pappy 20 is $90. I can get both and send via UPS if desired. I'll pick up an extra bottle of stagg at the store I'm headed to today to order some rum has it in stock. If he ends up not wanting it from me I'll give the extra bottle I pick up to my brother as a christmas gift. The pappy is a regularly carried bottle at one of the stores nearby so that's not an issue of getting but there's only like 15 bottles of Stagg left statewide.

If you ever get up to Roseville, CA, you can visit Total Wine. They always have Pappy
Funny. My last employer (NEC) has a facility in Roseville and I used to get up there every year for project meetings.
No more though ...

Thanks for the response guys. The BOTLs have come through for me as always.

Welcome aboard Ron! Kick off your shoes, get a beer from the fridge and make yourself comfortable. Lots of good folks here at one of the best cigar sites on the net.

Hendy and Tedski are taken care of with the Stagg. Got to love the misguided PA state distribution system. They do however have a rather convenient online system that tells you what store has what in stock. Plus the prices are actually reasonable compared to how they used to be back before I was really old enough to buy stuff there.

Did you grab a bottle for both of them?

Just ran across a couple of bottles of Stagg in a local shop today. I've still got a couple of bottles so couldn't justify it. Nice place with some real selection, glad I stumbled upon it. Haven't seen a sniff of W. L. Weller (the one from the Antique Collection). Really need to pick up a couple bottles of that.
