Went outside this morning to see what the dog was carrying on about, saw this guy in a face off with Fat Kat, head was raised about a foot off the ground and ready to strike, I got the cat to back off and threw a stick at the snake to try and convince him to move along,he moved about 5 feet and bowed up again, I threw another stick and he came at me! LOL, I thought that too and then was like "Eh, rattler...gotta do what you gotta do".
A few years ago, I was walking out to the truck and heard a rattler in some leaves. It raised up out of the leaves and I mag dumped a Glock 26 in to that thing.

I don't take chances with anything that can delete me from the census.

That's a beautiful diamondback. I will kill them if they are anywhere near my house as I have a lot of pets. If they are large enough in the wild I will make them supper. Crazy thing about cats and snakes is a cat's reaction time is much faster than a snake and a cat can typically swat away a striking snake.
