  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Not too big of a deal IMO.

That huge lead Gordon had will disappear when the Chase starts anyway.

Both teams are strong enough to still do well without their crew cheifs.

Any other drives not in the top 5 standings as this point it certainly would be. Say race #2 this happened to these guys? Then we would be saying -100 points, 6 race suspension for the crew chiefs, and -100 owners points to a lesser extent would affect them for sure. But because they are comfortable in the Chase and both won 4 races giving them 40 points when the chase starts does not mean the penalties are meaningless. I think NASCAR is being equally hard on the teams.

I think Nascar should have a definitive rule on what they can and cannot do with all areas on the car instead of there being a grey area.

I can understand Crew Chief and owner penelties, why the driver? How many drivers really know how or what is done to the car before they actually get in it to drive?
