Josh Hamilton the Beast!!!

Who saw the HR Derby last night? That kid is a BEAST! 28 HR in the 1st round. Of course he didn't win, but nobody's going to remember who won, they will remember the 13 straight HRs. I expect next year he'll save some for the finals, and save some of his pitcher's arm, and win it by a mile.

I'm sure everyone's heard his story by now, too, so I won't go into that. It's great to see a guy come back from where he's been and use what he's able to do to help influence others to get and stay clean.

One of the best sport performances i've seen.

Not just the number of HR's, but how consistently deep they were.

Hope everything works out for him, seems like a good guy.

Yeah, I watched it last night. I knew what I was watching was special by the reaction of all the other players, I mean the man was just crushing the ball on every swing.

An interesting take by one of the announcers was how the sound was different when Hamilton connected with the ball.

Being from DFW, I've been watching this kid all year. What an athlete! Not only does he hit for a ton but he chases down everything in the outfield. Texas will probably trade him this winter. :hammersma
