Juan Lopez Question

Just bought a box of Juan Lopez #1 SSU DIC01. On the box is says revisado with a month I cant read/04. Anyone know what this means?

FPD, that particular code means they were reserved for Mr. Wasch_24 and sent to you by mistake. You need to immediately send them to him at the addy in his profile.:halfgrinw

It just means they were re-checked by Habanos officials to make sure they were fit to sell. This can happen with old boxes that just sit around and don't get sold.

Ooooooooh, that's not good when they stamp it Revisado.
That means they revised the cigars and no longer are fit to sell.
You must send them to me so I can dispose of them in the proper manner :laugh:

I remember there was serious quality problems in 2001. Opening and checking, re-packaging may have been one way to deal with the issue? Just a theory, not fact.

That certainly explains why the JL#1 are smoking so much better than the BBFs I got around the same time. They had the double date but I assumed 04.
