  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

    Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Just another reason ...

... to hate the French.

1. Full-time employment in France is 35 hrs per week.
2. If you must work overtime, you don't get paid extra, but your employer is required to provide additional time off.
3. Minimum paid vacation for a full time worker = 5 weeks. This is in addition to the regular 12 paid holidays per year.

Those employment "rules" apply to most of Europe.
