Just received some cigars today

Just received some cigars today they are Partagas Coronas Senior (MAY 09), and Montecristo Especial No. 2(MUA MAR 09). I will let these cigars rest for 54months before opening them.

I usually give my cigars a good 4 weeks to get re humidified before giving 1 a try.

I don’t know sounded good to me. It’s more than likely a lie anyway. Their only a year old as of now I will wait for 4 weeks and then open them and inspect them and more than likely smoke one then.

Glad to hear you were only joking about the 54 months. If you ever wanted to get another box with the same code? You would have a hard time finding them after that amount of time.

Let us know how they are all smoking? I'm really curuios about your last order as I have some early 08 Regalias. They came around about 6 months after I got them and are almost gone. I've been debating getting another box of them or maybe rolling the dice on a box of tubed Upmann Coronas Majors instead. I've also heard that the Punch Coranations are supposed to be good smokes and I like the Punch line as well.:hearteyes

If you really want to wait 54 months, I know about 2,668 folks, myself being one, who would gladly sample those for you :grin:. I'm sure any of us would gladly advise you on whether or not it was worth buying more of the same date code, and in fact if they were even worth smoking at all. Just think how rotten you'd feel if you waited 4 1/2 years, only to be disappointed. This is really what brotherhood is all about, brother.
