Ahhh... life is good!


I borrowed a Netgear 802.11g router from work mosty to test my Tivo connection. Wow... what a difference between my g and b connection. It was taking me well over 2 hours to tranfer 30 min files to my server from my Tivo with b, but a mere 40 mins with my g connection...

Sometimes life is good!

I'm still ad-hoc inet serving my g-equipped laptop from my b-equipped desktop computer.

Speaking of TiVO... my recorder died the other day Not sure if I want to replace the hard drive or just buy another :dunno:

just buy another... they can be had for about $70 AR.
