  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Looked quite in depth to this back in the day. However never got around to it. The cornelius kegs are the deal. No need to wait for bottle conditioning. Give it a shot of co2. give it a shake. Let it settle for a few days and you are ready to tap. The kegs have come up in price last time I looked. Methinks they are not the surplus that they used to be. I never started with kegs because I just was not drinking what I was making and finally gave up altogether.

I keg exclusively. I'm an odd duck amongst home brewers....I never brewed extract, jumped right to all-grain...never bottled, right to kegging.
I've got a 2 handle keg fridge in my bar and use corny kegs as mentioned above.
Happy to help with any question you have about connections, corny's and what not.

You'll find lots of info there. I use the site but I don't keg so I don't know much about the soda kegs and stuff.

I just don't have the space to jump into like you did. Next house I swear. I don't even have a stinkin basement and I live in PA!
