So I'm sitting outside on my porch on this fine Connecticut night. It's a very comfortable 73°. I have my new savinelli trevi 320 packed very nicely(and fully) with the delicious dunhill nightcap. Of course the pipe needs the accompaniment of a good libation. So my choice was a glass of knob creek. The chances of my wife finding me very well asleep on my porch are rising very quickly. I hope some of my botl's are enjoying this fine Saturday night with a cigar or pipe, alcohol or soda, realizing what a fine hobby we so share.

BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Another thing i learned tonight is don't put pipe cleaners in your ashtray. Apparently, when mostly burnt out matches come in contact with them they have a tendency to ignite, smoke like crazy and smell very unpleasant. Also blowing on them does not put them out. It only helps the smoke and stink spread and get worse. being moderately intoxicated also greatly increases the risk of these events. That's all for tonights psa.

It's a comfortable 95 degrees out and I am relaxing in the back yard with a cigar and some Maker's Mark. A fine hobby it is!
I finished off the last of a bottle of scotch last week and have been considering some Makers Mark to replace it with. Never tried it before. Now the Nightcap I have tried and it is quite good.
