  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Cigar: La Aroma de Cuba Edicion Especial #5 (5.5 x 52)

Cost: $7.80

Drink: Coke

Appearance: There were no veins showing. The band is very classy. The appearance gets a 9/10

Pre-Light: It has a somewhat sweet taste to it..

Construction: Held a below average ash. The ash was pretty flaky. The draw was perfect. The cigar required a good amount of touchups.

Taste of the cigar: This cigar is very rich has a sweet cocoa taste to it. It also has some spice to it.

Strength: This is a medium-full bodied cigar.

Summary: This cigar pretty good. I might buy these again. Toward the end, it got pretty bitter and burned hot. I loved the richness of this cigar though. I give it a 7/10.

They have changed the blend, went from 11 lines to 5. Pepin is involved in the blend. The new ones look rather tasty.

That is exactly how I felt about these. I tried it 3 times just hoping I got duds the first couple of times. There are better sticks out there for less money.

I def like these smokes. Not a fan of the Normal La Aroma but the Ed. Especial is def a nice change of pace.
Are they just reblending the reg line or both? Anyone know?

The Especiale is too new. It looks like they reblended the regular all nic. I have to find some.
Chuck whats the chance are man used the same con broadleaf wrapper on the new La aromas that he lets another legend (P**t*) use on some Very Very tasty smokes. Hmmm Look the same to me. If thats the case. Look out!

Smoking this one right now....

Solid smoke, I could consider picking one up again. Nothing out of this world to me, however it does have a nice flavor and the burn is excellent.
