  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Prelight: Sweet Molasses, a little raisin at the foot.

First third: A nice pepper as expected from Pepin with some cocoa and a raisin flavor towards the finish.

Second third: Getting a nice bit of leather with the pepper still coming in, but diminishing slightly. Earthy flavor has taken over the background. A bit of cocoa on the finish here.

Just as the last third starts coming in the pepper has increased again and the earthiness, while still there, is less noticeable.

As it finishes up I'm still getting the nice pepper with increased leather notes and a bit of cocoa on the finish. A really nice end to this smoke.

Smoking time was about 90 minutes or so.

I enjoyed this stick. My second LAdC in the past couple weeks and I'm really enjoying it. In fact, I haven't smoked a Pepin made cigar lately that I haven't liked. I'll be picking up more of these for sure.

Craig, thanks for the review, pic's and for sharing your smoking experience.

I like the Mi Amor alot and I guess what surprised me about it is the Mexican wrapper and how good it is.

Thanks. Glad ya like it. It was gifted to me by a buddy a few years back. I've also got a stinky, but I kinda like the Padron for aesthetic reasons.

This is another one on my ever-growing list of I want to try......but is certainly up near the very top. Sounds like a great smoke, and darn near everyone who smokes/reviews it...at least that I've read....seems to love it.

Nice review.

Yep Kochroach's IPCR reviews killed my bank account. This one has a certain sweetness. Oily and good

Nice review and pics.

Thanks

I was hesitating to try this because of the maduro wrapper, as I have lost interset in maduros, but this sounds interesting enough to give it a try.

The Mexican wrappers they are growing right now are awesome! This cigar is a great example of what they are able to grow right now. Such a good cigar. Try the Murcielago by EO, also uses a Mexican wrapper.

Thanks for the review, Centex.

I just picked one up on my most recent visit to Cigars International. I can't wait to spark it up.
