Why Can't I be a Lancero?
Figured I try the total opposite of my normal reviews... just the facts.
La Aurora Corojo Robusto (IPCPR Sample)
-Guillermo tells me this is an entirely new blend, not the regular La Aurora with a Corojo wrapper
-B&M Only
First Third: bitter cocoa & musky cedar, bit of sugar (not brown sugar). Decent amount of black pepper
Second Third: sweeter cocoa, hints of espresso and natural tobacco, much denser black pepper on throat
Final Third: spice ramps up, cocoa goes back to bitter, cedar builds toward the end
Other Notes:
-Cigar Burns Really Well (had to retouch two of the three I smoked)
-Changes seem pretty subtle
-Pretty flavorful, flavors are upfront and bold you remember this cigar for being spicy
-Cigar is med-full in strength until the final third, hits full
There'll be a "full" review up somewhere sooner or later... :flying:
