  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

this is the fifth and final one of my series of reviews on these

the tube

hard as a rock, nice dark wrapper, smells of coffee and tobacco

used my xikar guillotine again to cut, same trusty bugatti torch to light.
coffee with pepper and woodsy tobacco flavors in the first couple of puffs
easy draw with a decent burn so far.
you can really taste the woodsy tobacco on the retro hale, but it did have a little bite to it

smoking this one in the evening, low 50's,kinda nice out

coffee flavor with a little leather that has a sting to it that reminds me of my childhood. time outs weren't invented then...lol
still spicy with the woodsy tobacco too.
burning better and drawing great with lot's of smoke that has a charcoal taste to it. probably from the woodsy tobacco

still has a bit of sting from the leathery and peppery coffee flavors.
the dark grey ash fell at 2 inches or so right after this pic

starting to kick pretty good now! it's gone from a medium to full strength cigar all of a sudden.
more peppery with the same woodsy tobacco and leathery coffee flavors.

last couple of inches and it's starting to get dark on me with the cigar still kicking.
great draw and burn.i like everything about this cigar, except the charcoal after taste

the nub finished on the strong side with the same great flavors after an hour of smoking.
yep, that was all of them zilla...

thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed the review!

i really liked the creamy nutty sweet tobacco of the platinum best, followed closely by the manly maduroness of the ruby.

the burn was decent, but did worry me a bit in a couple of places...
