  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

One of my favorite cigars right now, I've bought more of these suckers than anything else in the past few splurges. Consistent draw...razor sharp burn...big billows of smoke.

This lancero is pretty veiny, oily and dark. It has a very solid construction but looks bumpy - it looks like it didn't get much time in a mold.

Clean clip and took to flame easily. First draws of these are usually spicy, but I've dropped my humi down to 60% and it has helped out a lot with taking that 'spice bite' away.

The cigar always reminds me of peaches and tapatio in the first half and then turns into a doughy/spicy taste (think cinnamon graham crackers). Finishes up a little buttery...like cinnamon toast.

A few guys I know can't stand these becuase they say that the spice is too dominate in the DL line, but I think if you embrace the spice instead of trying to get past it you can really pull some great flavors out of the line.

I gott urned onto the lancero line as well....the amount of flavor I got from the lancero shape was absolutely outstanding to me....and as such I have been trying more lancero shapes in the varieties I tend to smoke (would love to see carlos torano signature and virtuoso lunes offered in these lol) to compare with thier other sizes and hands down I get more flavor out of the lancero shape...truly amazing...len

I had my 1st of these at the Pat's Miami game a few weeks ago, and it was very good. It started off a little strong since I had not eaten lunch, but it was going very well with my Jack on the rocks. Thanks for the review.
