Lake Michigan Pounds Chicago!

This is our pier here in South Haven, MI

We see alot of this where we live here in west Michigan. Our pier gets hammered by storms and wind all the time and infact it has been a record year for drownings. Just goes to show why there called the great lakes!

I miss that pier sometimes but not in the winter. I don't think people realize just big the great lakes are until you have been there. I used to have a picture of the huge chunks of ice that the storms would thow on the beach just south of there.

Hope you have a mild winter but hey deer season commeth.

Nice picture. I love the winter but am getting tired of the snow/ice as I get older.
