Law and Order (& cigars)

Was watching an older episode of this NBC crime drama this morning while eating breakfast. A cab driver was murdered and one of the clues was a partially smoked Monte #2. One of the police on the scene described this as a $40 smoke. I guess it's those high markups on the grey market ...

A later scene was when the detectives went to question their first prime suspect (an acclaimed author). He immediately offered them each a Cohiba Millenium "that he received from Castro." (From a glass top humidor.) He also commented that "these cigars were only made once every thousand years".

I remember an episode where they went to a cigar bar looking for a guy who bought Montecristo Series VII...not Cuban, but a real oddball cigar to mention.

I saw that one. I also saw an episode of CSI Miami where they were chasing the bad guys and they went by a huge yellow building that said Padron and then they showed an old man smoking a cigard and playing checkers.

Well, now those would be well aged if you could get one from the last release.
