  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Apparently Mr. U will be at Holts (today), I can't go unfortunately.. I noticed they had a box out, so I grabbed a few...

It's a pretty big stick (Toro?) at 54 x 6.5 I think?

Very dark wrapper & the bands are much classier than I.

It is a requirment to eat a full meal before embarking on this one guys!

STONG. I was blown away by how full-bodied, spicy & powerful this stick was. This toar up my sinus and irritaded my eyes and nearly had me seeing stars more than once in it's epic 2-1/4 hour journey. This perfectly drawing & burning sweet avo & pepper bomb was masterfull & graceful - Like a bodybuilder doing ballet..

Seriously though - This bazooka was a blast - what a great stick!

Just a reminder about the Avo Dinner at Sullivan's Steak House on Saturday, April 4TH at 6:eek:opm. We have almost 70 tickets sold and a group of 30 more will let me know Tuesday. That would bring us close to sold out. If you are interested in attending, now would be the time to let me know.

Payment is not due until April 1st, so let me know as soon as possible if you'd like to attend. The cost is $75 which includes a 4 course meal, two glasses of wine, $40 dollars worth of cigars (including the very limited LE09) and tax and tip.

If you can't attend, but would like a signed box of LE09's signed by Avo ( or any other box of Davidoff products), let me know and I will make it happen. The cost of the LE09s is $160.

This is the shop that Uncelnino works at!

Thanks for the announcement Larry, much appreciated. I am hearing nothing but good things about the LE09 so far, I am excited. If you get a chance, send me your address, I have a few sticks I would like to send your way. Hope you are well.

I believe this is the same cigar as the davidoff Reserva 12

Wrapper: Ecuador Special Sun Grown
Binder: Olor
Filler: San Vicente Ligero, Piloto Seco, Jalapa Especial Ligero, Corojo/Olor, LigeroCorojo Ligero

I pointed around the davidoff shop yesterday and didn't see either, left empty handed.

Can't wait to try it myself!!!

I know that you will agree my friend, I truely believe that the LE 05 was one of the best cigars ever produced!

Initial reports coming from the Cigar Kingdom indicate that the LE 09 "may" be better than the LE 05....let those of us that love the brand be the judge of that!

That's a bold statement... now I'm looking forward to this cigar even more.

out there
I'll be at the Dinner with Mr. U this weekend. I'm looking forward to it. I think I'll be picking up a box of the LE09's while I'm there. It's been a long time since I bought a box of cigars that didn't say Tatuaje on the box.....:ccowboy:

The current buzz I am hearing about these is that Mr. U himself has said that he thinks it is the best cigar they have ever put out! Saturday can not come quick enough.
