So how was the show? I heard Donald Fagen of Steely Dan was in Levon's band.

Going to see the Five Peace Band April 26, featuring John McLaughlin & Chick Corea. First time they've played together since being in Miles Davis's band. I haven't seen Chick in ages, but have seen McLaughlin a few times recently & he's not only an amazing player, but makes it look so easy. Plays incredible leads & doesn't even break a sweat.

Yes he was - it was a great show & great time - I think we were tenth row, right side - directly in front of Levon... and the Beacon is a favorite venue - just a beautifull theatre.

Had an excellent meal in little Italy at Angelo's and smoked some good sticks including a Noella Maduro & a Verocu #9.

Sounds like the show you're going to will be really excellent - a true musician's band. Have a blast!
