  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I was actually reading Augustine's "Confessions" when I smoked this :stretchgr
Good book, though I disagree with a lot of Augustine's theology in general.

And thanks for the review. I've not had the Beli yet (since they're brand new), but have smoked nearly 1/2 a box of the toros ... LOVE them. I'd definitely give them another try, or 5. And I can speak from experience that these DO improve some with age. The "oldest" one I've had was only like 6 months, but I thought the flavors melded together better. And as others have said, take your time with these!

Thanks for your review on this cigar. I have to agree with the feeling you expressed about the T-52 and feel similarly about the #9 as well, not special. But I feel it is high quality.
Ryan if your still intrigued by the Liga buzz, I recommend trying the Dirty Rat, for me that was a special L.P.

Yeah, I snagged some dirty rats from Podman as well. Gonna let everything sit for another month or two before I revisit them.

and in case I forgot to post it.. the smoke time for me was about an hour and 40 minutes with an inch and a half left or so.

I have at least two boxes of each size of the T52's and really love them but only at specific times. I find this is really a cigar that has to be smoked slooooowly. Everytime I rush one I think why do I have these? Then the next time sitting back enjoying the evening and lots of time I remember. Very interesting blend with subtle hints of Drew Estates infused cigars IMHO.
Chuck I think are right on about the pacing. Mostly due to its size and fear of overheating, I was very mindful of pacing when I smoked my first Flying Pig and I think it made all the difference.

I've had two no.9s in the past, and wasn't really wowed by them. I have a sampler of the entire T-52 line, plus a few Dirty Rats in the mail on the way to me. Looking forward to trying them.
